Dr. Ann Dale is an award-winning academic, author and environmentalist. She is the founder and board chair of the National Environmental Treasure and the Director of the School of Environment & Sustainability at Royal Roads University. She is a Canada Research Chair, a Trudeau Fellow and the author of 'Edging Forward: Achieving Sustainable Community Development'.

Ann has curated a collection of short videos that focus on biodiversity and sustainable development. Videos include; What makes a community vital?, What is Spatial Justice? And โ€˜Greenโ€™ Urban Development.

 

Dr. Daleโ€™s podcast series โ€œWhat the f**k is biodiversity?โ€. Each episode is an interview with a different leading expert discussing issues from urban biodiversity to wild empathy to amazing conservation initiatives taking place across Canada, and asking questions like โ€œCan beauty and aesthetics help save biodiversity?โ€.
